About this Blog
I started ChiTown Moms Fitness group to build a community that provides fitness and nutrition level support for moms in Chicago and beyond. The purpose of this blog is to get moms together to start fitness challenges and to provide a support system that encourages them as well as holds them accountable towards their goals. We will hold fitness challenges ranging from 4, 6, to 12 weeks to see total body transformations. Nutrition will be a big part of these fitness challenges and so will meeting regularly to assess our progress.
About Me: My name is Neeru Hundal and I've been living in the great city of Chicago since 1999. I’m a thriving, happy mom to a 2-year-old toddler, who has been struggling to lose weight, postpartum. My goal is to lose 30 pounds via our community organized fitness challenges and get fit, maybe even run a marathon someday. While I’m not there yet, I'm chipping away slowly at it, by eating clean and running for about 2 to 3 times a week.
